Bryan Gomez is a Supply Chain Director for a leading healthcare device manufacturer with a strong background in business administration and process improvement within the healthcare industry. Throughout his career, he has focused on improving care delivery systems and helping healthcare teams build cultures centered on growth, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes.

​

Bryan is passionate about supporting individuals as they transition into the workforce and is committed to helping communities gain access to meaningful resources and opportunities. His nonprofit experience includes leading fundraising efforts for youth sports organizations and collegiate programs in both Colorado and Ohio, bringing strategic leadership and a strong spirit of service to the mission of Open2Success.

Shaneice Coleman is the Human Resources Director at Woodward Community Based Services, where she leads organizational strategy, employee engagement, and workplace culture. She brings extensive experience supporting youth in foster care, including independent living, re-entry programs, and residential care, and began her career as a Youth Counselor before advancing into leadership roles.

Shaneice’s work is both professional and deeply personal. Her commitment to supporting young women is shaped by her own lived experience, including welcoming a young woman she met through foster care into her family. She is dedicated to creating environments where young women feel supported, valued, and prepared for their next chapter.

Jennifer Pavlovec

Treasurer

Jennifer Pavlovec is a finance leader with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit and government organizations. She began her career in public accounting, specializing in auditing and federal fund compliance, and has since held executive roles overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment management. Jennifer brings deep expertise in nonprofit healthcare and supports organizations through strong financial leadership and strategic planning.

Weslyn Caldwell is a community leader and Executive Director of Willkie House, dedicated to supporting youth and families through education, enrichment, and access to resources.

She also serves as a Team Lead with Woodward Community Based Services and contributes to multiple nonprofit boards focused on housing, education, and youth empowerment.

Marlie Atwood, MS, CEBC

Board Member

With more than three decades of experience in human services, Marlie Atwood has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate complex systems and access the support they need to thrive. She began her work supporting people with physical disabilities, brain injuries, and intellectual and developmental disabilities before advancing into case management, pediatric home care, behavioral health, and healthcare leadership.


Today, Marlie serves as a policy advisor, working on initiatives that improve access to services and strengthen systems that support individuals, families and communities. Her professional experience spans direct service, program development, policy, and leadership, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing providers and the people they serve.
Having raised her children in the Des Moines area and now residing in West Des Moines with her family, Marlie is deeply invested in strengthening opportunities and resources that help individuals and communities succeed.


As an Open2Success board member, Marlie is excited to contribute her experience, ask thoughtful questions, and help advance the organization’s mission of expanding opportunities for the people it serves.
